Sooooo much, we literally didn´t stop! We visited the Brandenburg Gate and the new Holocaust Memorial. This Memorial let to a huge discussion in germany, because it is not a real memorial, well see - it is a big field full with ashlars of different heigth and what you have to do is walk through them with an expression of deep sorrow on your face. I mean, that is what it is meant for. I mean, it is a memorial for all the murdered jews during Holocaust... but that was not obvious for all those backpacking tourists there. There was a lot of jumping and running and the security lady was busy getting children and male adults (no comment!!) down of the square stones.
We walked arround with my (Jo´s
) parents in Potsdam, had a little stop in very nice cafe (and fell temporarely in love with the waiter (very cute smile))..
We had a weak moment one evening when we had an appointment at a very luxurios restaurant called Hasir. We went there with our immense map ( one little page for all parts of Berlin plus the metro-plan..) and were totally in time (we don´t wanna sound arrogant but I guess we are the best female map readers ever). Ok it wasn´t that luxurios when we sat down in the middle of turkish extended families - actually there was nearly everything in turkish (menue, the butcher on the other side of the road..)Than we got a call (in the meantime the waiter brought us our beers..) from Jos cousin, asking us where the hell we were.. after some minutes of confusion we finally got to the conclusion that we were at the wrong Hasir..
well it was kind of complicated to explain to the waiter (also turkish) that the reservation we just made a few instants before was now not valid anymore..even the high tip didn`t calmed him down so we had to flee ASAP. We arrived in the indeed very luxurios Hasir (the right one) with one hour delay (some personal problems with the underground-system). We just had to convince the doorman that we actually were a part of a group that was already inside - he was a bit horrified by our hectic looks, but finally did let us kindly in, due to our amazing charms.
Well, foot was great.
We just had to come down to earth (Man, were we pissed off!!), than the evening turned out to be really nice (some hectic moments when we found out that we ordered the main course before the others, but less hectic members of my family were able to solve this).
What else did we do??
The Juli decided to test all the different Starbucks in the big city of Berlin.. well it tastes everywhere the same.. (only that The Juli after two days had the constitution of a flummy ball.. but wait, that´s always the case
. That´s how we luuuuuuuuv her!) and discovered for herself the wonderful world of Dunkin´ Donuts. We visited the New Synagoge of Berlin (after a very intense security check, luckily we had no embarrasing underware in our bags), the Sony Center, where the works for the World Cup
already started , and of course, looked very attractive all the time with our tourist map.
On the way back The Jo was flirting heavily with some greasy guy.. Well, he was busy staring at her boobs (The Jo knows that her boobs are surely nice to stare at but this guy was really awkward). He was following us! When we got into the plane he changed his direction and tried to sit as close to us (or to Jo`s boobs:o) as possible, but our luck was a swabian manager that blocked any visual contact with his immense newspaper..The Juli was not amused (he might have been a nice guy muhahaha..).
Well - hm - The Jo thinks that she is much to mature to answer to that.
Changing subjects:
Our plans for tonight: looking cool at the yearly beach-party and perhaps find some nice guys who realise that we also have eyes to look at :o)
The Jo really thinks that now it´s time for The Juli to take her shower. I´m really looking forward to se again the nice, shy Daniel we met at the Africa Party (just to mention that we have no mail for our trip to Paris). I tried to talk to him yesterday during a course, but his face turned suddenly so red I´ve never seen before!! But we also found out that he has some mysterious cuts at his wrist. That was really kind of shocking for us to see
... well maybe it has no meaning, but... hm. We´ll check this out...
So some and see us soon, as tomorrow there´ll be another HOT BABE OF THE MONTH!!!
Kisses XXXO
Juli and Jo

Age: ähhhh 19??
Heigth: 1,80 m
eye colour: green-brown
sign of the zodiac: Sagittarius (the typical one, who will step even in the middle of the desert in a puddle..)
peculiarities: absolutely no sense of time
Proof: Yesterday my radio-alarm woke me up with a very nice song ( *sing* haaa the Beach Boys..). After 2 cups of coffee and a shower I was finally prepared for a exhausting bus trip ( why do all the pupils always have to be in our bus??? ). I went to the bus station, trying to look as awake as educated as possible with my 5 kilo file.. but there was no bus!!! I tripple-checked the watch ( I was in time which happens suprisingly enough not very often )and called the Jo ( with my new and by the way very cool cellphone ) who didn`t answer ( I really have to check in the adjustments if there is an Incognito-Function ).. So I had another 15 minutes to look very educated reading my new favorite book "men, prostitution,tourism-when men travel" ( see what university wants me to do... ) till the next bus came.. The driver really had a bad time during my lcture about german punctuallity ( Thats what I always got to hear from my mom..).. I triple checked my watch again and the fourth time I realised someting... I WAS ONE HOUR TO LATE ( thtas why the bus driver repeated in row that there is no bus at quarter past, the schedule changes every hour..)
Discription of the Jo:
Temporarily in love with the hot singer of Russia during the Eurovision Song Contest
Dima Bilan and quite pissed off because of the votings of this strange contest...hmpf...
I mean - yeah, Finland was indeed cool, but not that cool... Geez. I slowly get to the conclusion that everybody in Europe except the Juli and me have no sense of music...well, to be honest
they are scary but also funny :-). I highly appreciate that not again another Ralph Siegel song won... a warm hard rock halleluja to all of you outside...
Muahahaha, they are performing their song again, hilarious!!!
I guess we´ll finish this and than we´ll have a bit of...
Aruba Jamaica ooh I wanna take ya
Bermuda Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo Montego baby why don't we go Cocomo
ooh I wanna you down to Cocomo... That´s more of our kind!
Hugs and Kisses
Juli and Jo

We hope so, because we do (I should say as usual!). The Juli left today to celebrate "Mother´s Day" at home while I´m stuck here in my little appartment.
I was so bored that I actually started writing for our new seminarpaper (...no comment!) that we have to do for a teacher instead of a written exam. But it´s ok this time, we can do it together, we have a nice theme - Motivations for travelling. It´s really exciting, the Juli is reading an amzing book about sex tourism and declared herself some days ago as not mature enough to do so. Yeah, baby.
So on friday the "biergarten" of the Klubsofa opened the season and we both where there - with very different motivations.
The Jo went there to party
and to have a good time, while the Juli is earning money...(I looked out for a nice KAO, but didn´t find anything...)
We were even photographed, one the first pic it´s the lovely Juli during work, don´t even realizing she is been taken on photo and the seceond one shows the Jo with a friend from our semester. And for some reasons the Jo has on the photo suddenly hair as red as the Juli. Why??
*glubschi*

So - that´s all for now...I´ll move my chair 50 cms and watch TV (oh, there´s a good one tonight: Spy Game withe Rob Redford and The Brad. Wheeeeee!! So excited!! I haven´t met him for a looong time.)
*blow kiss*
God night and good luck (has anyone seen this film yet? George Clooney as a director?!! Whyyy? Oh, whyyy! We want to see him in front of the camera not behind...my gosh!! That´s not so hart to get, huh?!!)
Jo

So.
1.) Juli and Jo sitting an the Jos balcony, enjoying the sun shining and discussing if the Juli has a sunstroke, because of a sudden, she wasn´t very motivated to go to this african party at our university tonight, so we were actually thinking of "just watching another Bollywood movie".
2.) We than decided to go, just because of the cheap beer price (1,- € during the happy hour) and due to our discussion some days ago that we are not going out often enough. I mean, when did we come home, totally pissed, throwing up in the stairways, making the neighbours calling the police...
3.) So after being very hectic to be in time at the bus station BEFORE 20:06, the Jo finally caught the bus, but as she realized very anxiously, the dear Juli wasn´t in it! So Jo got out the next station, tried to call Juli (...the person you´ve called is temporalily not availiable...grrr...) and than made her way up to the vineyards.
4.) Eventually the Juli called the Jo just to check if she missed the bus?? They decided to GO. GO. One hour later (still during the happy hour :-) they arrived there and nothing was ready. Hello - this event was planned by Moise. Höhö. We got ourselves a beer and started looking cool in the corner.
5.) Some friends came little time later, an african band started to play and after the next beer (we had to hurry to profit from the happy hour!) we started to had real fun!! We chatted, we looked really cool, we danced in the best steps we know and checked out men, we always liked. And we truly can´t say that we haven´t been successful. So, those three from our semester, that are the only handsome ones: Thilo, Thomas and Micha. Also to mention that we are looking for some guys to help us moving in august...application forms can be ordered from us... so Micha and Thomas were very easy to convince to help us, they even gave their vacation plans up after they learned that we will just have one bed and noooooooooo money for pyjamas... (ok, we admit that this is stolen from "Love actually", but HELL IT WORKS!!!) Micha: "NOW WE ARE TALKING STRAIGHT, BABYS!!!" Muahahaha. We were already quite lucky at this point.
6.) We also met our tutor Moise who turned out to be more than a chaotic french tutor but a very competent drummer in an african band... "What the hell is he doing on stage? Does he know what he´s doing??" He was very nice to us and gave us a lottery ticket. Ok? Got it? Moise gave us a lottery ticket and the Juli just did put it somewhere (she flirted with Thomas, so that´s an excuse!!).
7.) We also saw a guy that we met one week ago on the Jos balcony (well now that´s a long story, but we´ll just put it in a short way: He was invited to a party above us, that was crap according to the conversations we could listen to, so he and a friend came down to us. With beer :-) Yes we are easy to get. We had a nice BBQ this day, see, and it was a 1,99 € barbecue!!
But that´s not the matter today, we met this guy, Daniel, who is from Oldenburg, so not far away from the Jos hometown. Nice guy. But he had a lot of concurrence this night!!!
8.) There was "el torro". That is how we call him :-). We know him from our english course. He is from Uruguay and his real name is Guillermo, but we always call him "el torro", because, well - hmm - "Ja, weil halt du Spast!!" He lookes like the typical argentinian Tango dancer, but destroyed during the last course all of our hope with one sentence: "I neverr dance." Really...? "No. Neverrr." Njuuuuuu! Ok, so we were watching him and checking if he told the truth (well - hmm - he did!!) and we wanted to talk to him, but there were always so many blond girls around him that we didn´t dare to do so. And he was in the company of a spanish guy we fancy already quite long, but he was the only one that wouldn´t be convinced by our amazing charm. Stupid one.
9.) Definitifly the most exciting point on our list: the african showmaster with the magnificant but absolutely incomprehensible accent started to announce the starting of the lottery ( hectic searching for ticket...).. The Juli finally found it in the deapth of her pocket :o) but that was when the buddy of Moise already called the winning number (64825) the third time and prepared the jury for another try... Than she took it out and was of course looking everywhere else BUT NOT ON THE TICKET and finally the Jo looked at it and she was like: "What?? Ha? 64825? wasn´t that the number... 64825?? 64825!!!! Hey!!! HEEEEEEEYYYY!!! Let us through!!!! JULI!! YOU WON!! HOLY SHIT!!!!" After a long way to the stage through the crowd ( why did we hang out on the other side of the room?? Okay just because we looked cooler in the dark...and there were all the nice guys :o)and hysteric screaming by the Jo ( The Juli didn`t get it at this point.. I mean she didn´t even look on the little paper..)we arrived just in time ( we are getting organised!!!). Juli climbed on stage (she was looking good there, of course!!), the guy checked her ticket (that the Jo gave him, still screaming!!) and well - she won.
NO KIDDING!!! And guess what!!
A 4 DAY VACATION TO PARIS FOR 2 PERSONS!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHH!!!!!
And than the party started, because the Juli will take the Jo with her, yayayayayy! Arrrrriba!! If we had thought at that point that we had an good night, it just got better and better!
10.) Thilo turned out to be a wonderful dance partner and the Jo and he gave an high class salsa performance. Wow!!!
11.) Aaaaand we finally managed to talk to el torro!! We don´t know anymore how it came, but I think it was when we stood by his side (that was planned!!), looking cool (not planned, that´s by nature!!), the Jo just grabbed him and told him that we won a travel to Paris. He was lucky for us - "Hey, how was it?" Ähhh --- "No, we just won it!!" - "Yes, how was it??" Ähhh.... we guess he also had to profit from the happy hour. And than we told him that we would look at im all night to check if we would not even dance a bit - you know, a little food tapping, or so, but "No. Neverrr." Than a very cool song came and the Jo was like: "Well, see, you don´t dance, I do!" (The Juli already freaked out at our side!)And he just said: "Chey, dooon´t bootherrr..." Muahahaha. Excellent guy. Really funny. We have to sit near him the next english course.
12.) But that wasn´t all!! There was also this IBIS guy, a cuuuuute one we always looked in common courses we have with IBIS. And we took the chance, when he chatted with Thilo. We have to say, that this guy is extremly shy, so it was not easy, but - well - hm - we made it. We did it, we did it, oh yeah yeah yeah... He is one of those that don´t talk very much, but if yes, it´s hilarious!!! Really.
13.) We were so stunned by this guy, Daniel, hat the other Oldenburg-Daniel wasn´t very interessing any more and his trys to impress us ("...and may I invite you to the next balcony barbecue?" The Jo, very cool: "Well, you can invite us, no prob, but we´ll have to check if we can manage to come.")
14.) When the party was finished, we weren´t likely to go home. There was Moise jumping around "Allez les filles, venez aux 08-15!", there was this gorgeous Daniel (...haaaa...) who was persuaded by Annegret "Uschi" Altpeter (geeez was she hot, she nearly ripped off his clothes - understandable!!) to go there too and after we got rid off the boring Daniel (who thought that the Jo hat lost her purse, searching hectic everywhere), we grabbed Thilo (soooo drunken!!), to protect us from Moise and to have a good looking guy by our side!!, and staggered to the next party.
15.) On the way to the party we met this totally nice french guy, named Baptiste. The Juli simply started to walk at his side, trying to impress him with her french..(well - didn´t work - he actually impressed her with his good german and that lovely french accent..haaaaaa) while the Jo was busy getting Thilo with her. That was interesing, because Thilo wanted to convince gorgeous Daniel that he could have all women (...yesssss :-) he would want if he just would be a bit more like Thilo. That has to be proved first!! Hmpf.
16.)The Juli arrived (linked arms with the nice french guy) circa 15 minutes before The Jo carrying more or less drunken Thilo (trying to find somebody who will offer him a beer), and she was a bit worried after he told her that he liked childeren - "Thilo! Üagh!" - "No, not like this...Jo...!"
17.) We stood outside the bar, appropriate 30 min, Moise came out every 5 min "Allez les filles", discussing if we would go in or not (?!!!), we decided that Thilo wanted to leave.
18.) It took another 30 min to make him find the way to the street!! When we got him so far just to MOVE 10 meters, he turned around and disturbed a semi naked couple laying on the front of a car and told them he HE would like to take a taxi, but the GIRLS would like to walk... The Juli said the coolest sentence of the whole evening (exect "No. Neverrr.") when she tried to save the couple: "Thilo! We are actually picking you up so WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP AND COME WITH US??" Couple was delighted.
Thilo, surprised: "Ohhhh...??? Hm, ok!"
19.) Finally, we didn´t pick him up. But his girlfriend will be very surprised if she will find him in his bed sleeping, wearing a very tight "Jean-Paul-Gaultier"-like Shirt which the Jo gave him to make him stop talking about his freezing nipples.
20.) One hour later, Juli and Jo arrived at the Jos place (where all started, if you look at 1.) ), we had a improvised barbecue in the kitchen, delicious!!, and wondered, if we had really won a trip to PARIS (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!)... and then went to bed. In ONE bed :-). Without pyjamas
.
Well.
Anything more??? We will write the next comment when we´re back to normal (well, on the "normal" crazy level, you know!!).
Kisses to all of those good looking helping hands (...we´re moving together...!!)
Always remember the fabulous song by Aaron Tippin "I can help":
If you got a problem, dont care what it is
If you need a hand, I can assure you this
I can help, I got two strong arms
I can help
It would sure do me good to do you good
Let me help
Its a fact that people get lonely, aint nothing new
But a woman like you baby should never have the blues
Let me help, I got two for me
Let me help
We love you. We truly do!!
XXXXXO

We did all the things you can only do in southern Germany - sitting all night long in a lovely park in a beer garden with hundreds of other students and good looking guys with a cold beer (well, as you may not know, a "Mas" contains 1 liter of beer, so it may be cold in the beginning, after 30 minutes "cold" is relative!)
We went home quite late on friday and had a nice little walk through the Julis hometown Fellbach
.
Saturday we had an amazing time in the pedestrian precinct (since I learnt this word at the age of 12, it´s my all time favourite english word!!), we were very busy shopping and checking other people and got photographed for - well, actually, we have no idea, but still!
Later the day we went to this fabulous funfair in Cannstadt, what is mostly what all of you know from september in Munich...It was immense, huge beer tents and as a matter of fact drunken people everywhere... we had fun :-) getting checked by two guys (well, of course not by only two but those will always stay in my mind!!) who wanted us to climb up their table and dance (...) and the Juli saved us by pretending us being french - and after a while I was asked by one of them: "But you can german!" God, sometimes I highley doubt the german school system... But maybe I shouln´t. Maybe this guy was just too dumb. Or, as I suppose, too drunken to be able to cope with a foreign language. Not everybody is so smart as we are.
Well but before all this happend, we went in the part of the festival waht was called "Petit Paris" and that was soooo nice!!
They had the Eiffel tower and stands where they sold wine and french beer (we looked for the famous 1668, but all we found was Franc All...still great, of course!). We had perfect Moules-frites with whitewine sauce, delicious...
Just to mention that little crabs built their homes in our Moules... we were truly sorry to cause them homelessness, but I guess they didn´t care very much anymore after being thrown in the deep-fryer :-). Cute ones, though.
We decided that a meal in Petit aris could not be finished without - guess what...
Mais oui, fromage!! The two chinese girls at our table were disgusted, but well. C´est la vie.
We just had a great time, on our way to the train we even met one of the Julis cousins. Being home in Fellbach we decided that it would be MUCH too early to go to bed, so we got ourselves a beer and went up in the vineyard and ahd a wonderful view over Stuttgart. Wow. Amazing.
We had such a good time! Ok - that´s what we always have when we´re together. But definitivly the best moment of the weekend was when the Juli had to show her identity card before being allowed to enter a beer tent. It was not even 10 pm, means that this stupid security woment didn´t even take fer for 16. I mean - hmm. But than this security type opened Julis bag and took something out that could be as best describben as a pillbox, containing litte white pills. And she still could enter!! Looking innocent and explaining that this would be vitamin C preparations I must confess that the Juli would be a better dealer than I would have ever thought!
Now we all know where this wicked smile comes from. Muahahaha.
We will have another great weekend this month in Berlin, when we will see my family and friends there, yay!!
